About this event
We’ve learned more about the brain since the 1980’s than in all previous history. Many discoveries are providing hard evidence for how and why a coaching approach is so effective, and pointing to new ways to define, measure and deliver coaching. In this breakthrough 1.5 hour event, you will learn:
» Why change is so hard, from a physical perspective
» What every coach, manager or leader should know about the brain
» The new science of attention, reflection, insight and action

As a result you will be able to better understand how and why coaching works, improve the performance of others and be more confident in presenting the central ideas of coaching. About the presenter David Rock, CEO and Founder of Results is a thought leader in the global coaching field, having trained over 4,000 coaches since 1998. He is the author of two books, most recently, Quiet Leadership, published by Harper Collins. David co-founded NYU's Coaching Certificate Program, and is independently researching the links between coaching and the brain, in partnership with a leading neuroscientist. He is active with several Fortune 100 clients integrating coaching into their culture, and consults with clients such as IBM, HSBC and AIG. He is a regular speaker at global coaching, training, leadership and learning conferences.
