I attended an interesting HR.com webcast titled Coaching Ourselves on February 12, 2007.

Phil LeNir had a problem. The three rounds of layoffs and offshore outsourcing of work to the Ukraine had pushed his managers into uncharted territory. They didn’t know how to deal with these new challenges. Phil would have liked to send his managers to a top end development program like the IMPM but he had no budget or time. Sound familiar? With McGill’s Henry Mintzberg he hit upon a solution — Using relevant managerial topics and their own experiences, managers coach each other!
